    This is a good cheap little 100mm heatsink, good for older cases from the mid 2010 and older for room. Wished it come with back plate for AMD but guess most heatsink coolers just don't like Amd parts. The RGB lighting is really good and it can get power on some motherboards if they have a 3 pin 5v connector, if not ya can get a separate cable to hook it to the 5v rail on the sata power cables with adapter to 3 pin. The RGB even has a remote so ya change to color and patterns and even the speed of the color change. Works well on the AMD 7 5700 cpu for the build. The pin layout is 2 pin, blank, 1 pin.

    Good for HP small PC

    Replaced R3 3200G with R5 3600 CPU and GTX 1660S.. HP used Intel 1150 coolers on these smaller PCs.(not ITX). Case only has 130mm height for cooler. The X 90 fits perfectly & directs airflow to the only case exhaust fan . The temps with Stock cooler would reach 90+ & throttle the CPU regularly. The X90 seldom gets to 80 with full MHZ. Would recommend this cooler for any small space restricted case. It’s inexpensive too

    Does not cool properly

    Installed on a new Ryzen 7 3700x. When using CPU extensively, temp gets up to 75c. I have other coolers that are way below 70c with same CPU/case setup. I purchased this unit because of its size so it would fit in a smaller case. I guess this is a compromise for cooling (airflow into the case is not the problem here).
