My senior dog has diabetes and is on insulin. Every once in a while, I don’t get him outside fast enough and he goes inside in the same areas by the door. I tried products that claim to lift the scent of urine to no avail. My husband said it to look for a rug and put it in the same place. That way it would be easier to clean it. This rug came up on a search for pee-pads. This rug looks so much better than what I was seeing and the price point is perfect for what I received. It’s a 2’ x 10’ runner that fits the full area Skylar likes to frequent.
The description is completely accurate. Not only is it exceptionally soft, this rug resist my dog’s pee puddles. I have visual and experiential evidence now. (Thanks, Mr. Skylar.) First photo with urine is before, and the one following is the after. All I had to do is take a paper towel and press out the urine. I used an enzymatic spray and let it set. Pressed out the cleaner. The rug dries in no time and looks good as new. I didn’t have to get out my steam cleaner again. Yay! I am sold. I also love the antique look of the blue rug.
