The rug is thinner than expected but it's well made, very soft to the touch and beautiful. It's true to size and the color is exactly as shown. I may need to get a pad to put underneath it to make it a little more cushy to walk on. It came in a box I could easily carry and was pretty light for an 8×10 rug. I was able to shake it out and lay it down by myself with ease which, my other 8×10 rug felt like I was wrestling a bear. It seems like it will be very durable over the long run, especially for being so light, but it does seem like it would slip around quite easily if I didn't have furniture resting on it.
