Update: Ad WAS inaccurate but is now correct and it's a great iron
Update: I've had this iron for almost a year now and I've used it a LOT thanks to my quilting/sewing hobby. It's still just like new. The ad previously included errors so I deducted a star. However, that has since been corrected so I've upgraded my rating to 5 stars. I never thought I'd love an iron so much. Original review: After spending a stupid amount of time researching, I purchased this one 3 weeks ago. The Amazon ad is inaccurate and I wanted to return the iron based on principal (hence 4 stars instead of 5). However, I freaking love the iron so much that my principals caved. It's actually 1750 watts (although the ad says 1850 and 1500, depending where you look). The water tank is easy to fill and the water line is easy to see. I tested the tank's capacity and it's almost 400ml/13.5oz, as advertised, which is much larger than most. The plate is big and has lots of holes for steaming. The iron produces a generous amount of steam. It has a nice pointy tip for pressing seams open. It heats up quickly (45-60 seconds… not quite the 30 seconds advertised) and glides smoothly. I compared the surface temp with another, lower wattage, new iron and the Omaiga was several degrees hotter (both irons were set to the hottest temp and I turned them both on precisely two minutes before testing). The shut-off time in vertical position is 8 minutes, which is typical (I would have preferred longer but that's not a big deal, especially considering how quickly this iron heats up). If you're a quilter, this iron combined with a wool pressing mat will majorly up your pressing game.

Sturdy, well made iron. Water reservoir is large for steam. Great value for a reasonable price! Removes wrinkles in a flash, and glides across the fabric! Highly recommend this beautiful iron that works quite well.

I’ve only used this product once, but the water reservoir was easy to fill and it heated up quickly. The only thing I find cumbersome is the dial to change the heat setting. It’s under the handle and it’s hard to read and hard to see what temperature it’s on. I do like the idea that this iron can be used cordless or corded. I prefer cordless. The instructions for using the iron either with the cord or without are very vague. I had to guess at how to fit the corded part into the cordless part and then guess as to how the iron sits on the plate. The base moves a little and I wasn’t sure if I had it together correctly. Guess I did since it turned on and worked well.

So far I love this iron. I can't believe how quickly it heats up, and the burst of steam function is incredibly powerful. I have timed it's auto off and it is exactly 8 minutes, so you don't have to worry about getting distracted and forgetting to turn it off. It also turns off if you are ironing and don't keep it moving. I really like the long tip that makes ironing between buttons a breeze.

Very nice iron: heats super fast, is light and easy and gets into tight seams but what is with the red light. Its probably not safe but I do leave my iron plugged in and set up at all times so my husband can quickly iron his dress shirts every morning. When the iron is off but plugged in, there is a bright red light that is super bright during the night. My husband complained and had to get used to it. I guess it could be good if you need a night light in your bedroom. Just not for me but I understand it's a safety feature.

Heed the warnings about this iron and save your money! Like other reviewers, mine stopped working after 3 months. In the middle of sewing it simply stopped getting hot. Even before this, the iron never stayed hot for long off its base. It was annoying having to put it back on its base every few seconds to reheat. I do a lot of quilting so I thought a cordless iron would be more manageable, but I think dealing with a cord is less hassle than putting the iron on and off a base and making sure each time that it’s connecting and heating up. Wish I could return it. It’s very upsetting that consumers have no recourse for a bad product from Amazon that stops working less than a year (or 4 months in my case). My previous iron lasted 20+ years but today so much is junk!

I am a quilter who uses an iron almost daily and I have owned many irons trying find that perfect one for me.
What I like about this iron: It is light weight. It has a narrow point with many holes for steam. It was inexpensive. It doesn't leak.
What I don't like: it shuts off too quickly and is slow regaining heat. It doesn't seem to get hot enough. But what is most frustrating is the steam. It shuts off and I have wait/move it around/turn it off and on to get it to turn on again.
I will continue to look for another iron.

I’m a quilter, and I iron fabric a great deal (read all the time). This has been the most delightful addition to my sewing space. Easy and very quick (literally seconds) to set on the charger base and get a “heat boost”. I like to make a good crisp binding and I just set it on the base every three or four ironing board lengths while making binding and had no loss of heat or power. Glides easily, mid to light in weight, and I love that it will steam when held vertically.
